LockIn Privacy Policy

LockIn is a group accountability app for structured self-discipline challenges. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, who processes it, and the choices you have.

Account

To create an account you sign in with your email, or with Sign in with Apple or Google. Authentication is handled by Supabase. We use this to create your account and sync your crews and progress across your devices.

Profile

Your profile includes a display name, your timezone, and your date of birth. Date of birth is used only for a 13+ age check. LockIn is not for children under 13.

Challenge Data

Your crews, challenges, daily check-ins, and streaks are stored so that your crew can see shared progress on the live feed. Timezone is used to calculate each day fairly across members.

Photos

Progress photos are optional. When added, they are stored privately and are visible only to you. In this version they are never shared with your crew or anyone else.

Usage Analytics

Usage analytics is off by default. If you turn it on from the in-app screen, LockIn collects limited product analytics through PostHog, such as onboarding progress, paywall views, purchase results, and feature usage, to understand app health and improve the product.

Usage analytics never includes your photos. It is not used for advertising, and it does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. You can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Crash Diagnostics

LockIn uses Sentry to collect crash and error diagnostics so we can keep the app stable.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime option are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through RevenueCat. LockIn does not receive or store your payment card details.

• Supabase, for accounts, database, and storage.
• PostHog, for opt-in product analytics.
• Sentry, for crash diagnostics.
• RevenueCat with Apple and Google, for purchases.

Sharing

LockIn does not sell your personal data and does not share it for third-party advertising.

Your Rights

You can access, export, or delete your account data by contacting support. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or the CCPA.

Children

LockIn is for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app changes. The latest version is published at the privacy policy URL listed in App Store Connect.
